Inbox Rule Investigation

Inspect Inbox Rules, or generate commands to disable, enable, or remove specific rules.

Commands are generated locally in your browser. MailOps does not execute them or connect to your Microsoft 365 tenant.

Use the mailbox's primary SMTP address or UPN.

This checks Inbox Rules only. Mailbox-level forwarding is configured separately.

Requirements and scope

Run generated commands only after reviewing them in the context of your tenant.

Requires the ExchangeOnlineManagement module and an authenticated Exchange Online session with suitable RBAC permissions.

Investigation commands use Get-InboxRule and are read-only. Remediation commands use Disable-InboxRule, Enable-InboxRule, or Remove-InboxRule to modify rule state for a specified mailbox. MailOps does not execute commands or assess rule intent.

Connect to Exchange Online

If you are not already connected, authenticate to Exchange Online before running the generated command.
